Goodbye T8.5

Today is the day I took off my 8.5 peices.  It’s been coming for awhile now… not a single piece of my 8.5 was the “best” that I had, but that bonus was just too damn good to ignore.  Well… what we all knew was going to happen, happened today.  

Druid Tier-8 Healer 4-Piece Set Bonus: The amount of healing this set bonus grants on the initial cast of Rejuvenation has been reduced by 50% 

Sure, the insta-bonus isn’t gone completely… but that 50% is quite the nerf.  There were no other resto changes, and the most noteworthy other change is Onyxia becoming a level 80 raid… I dono what I think of that!

I’ll keep you updated on how painful losing my 8.5 bonus is, since I don’t have my 9.5 bonus yet to replace it.  Hopefully I can still put out adequate numbers.

  1. I’ve kept my pieces on. The bonus is still very nice, even though I have pieces that could replace it. The druid in my guild with full T9.25 and I had competitive HPS all night, so I suppose it just really depends. I’m still not replacing my gear until I get that final trophy!
