Adventures of a lowbie Druid

As mentioned previously in my blog, I am casually leveling a tauren druid with some friends.  Our all cow group consists of a hunter, a warrior a shaman and myself.  Yesterday I dinged 18.  Technically I dinged 14,15,16,17 and 18.  We got a little carried away :)  I also got my first blue and did all the quests in Ragefire Chasm.  The definite highlight (ok, more so for me and the shaman…) was hitting 16, and being able to run a little faster!

Having an end game resto druid already, I knew exactly were to spend all my talent points, and what I wanted from all my gear.  It turns out that end game logic doesn’t apply to a level 18.  Without all the talents and spell power and ToL, rejuvenation isn’t exactly great.  Regrowth is a little better but you don’t get lifeboom or wild growth or nourish for a looooooong time.  I ended up putting full clicks into Naturalist and getting myself a Glyph of Healing Touch.  Those suckers are fast now, .5 seconds.  I know full well I won’t have either of these things if I ever get to 80, but right now, actually playing the lowbie, they seem like the right choices.

I looking forward to the next few levels.  I’ll get a mount at 20, and I’ll finally be able to reach Intensity on my tree (0 Mp5 while casting just seems wrong!!) I’ll check back in with more of our adventures in a few levels :)

  1. Now that I see it in writing I realize how fast you actually went from that ding at 18 to … whatever it is you and the shammy are at now! LOL
