I’m curious fellow druids, what do you usually raid with? A staff or a main hand/off hand? I know, I know “depends on which is better” but I mean, generally speaking do you find that you prefer the stats on one or the other?
Personally I’ve used a staff since mid-BC. I find that the staves tend to have more stats [...]

General Vezax is sort of a weird fight as a resto druid. Let me share my experiences with you, and hopefully you’ll find some of it useful.
For the most part, when I was first starting this boss I stayed right under him. This meant I didn’t have to worry about the shadow crashes, and more importantly it meant [...]

I made a guild change this week. The whole thing actually went pretty smooth in my opinion. I was unhappy with something, and spoke to my (old) GM. I was told that said dispute wouldn’t change any time soon. I told him that I enjoyed the guild but I would be headed off, and he said I was free to stay [...]

So I went to put an enchant on my Chef’s Hat and I had a little weirdness. First I tried to use an Arcanum of Blissful Mending which is my preferred enchant as a resto druid (you never know when you may need to heal while wearing a novelty hat!) Anyway, I got an error telling me that [...]

For those of you interested in how much the instant heal is hitting for, here is some info. Self buffed, and in tree form my spell power is 2148. The heal hits me for 1441, and does not vary at all. Without my tree bonus, and with 1943 spell power, the heal hits for 1215. [...]

You know… I like spirit. You get mana regen, you get + healing in tree form, and with talents 10 spirit is really 11.5… it’s nice. I like spirit so much that until recently I’ve greatly favored it over + healing.
Lately I’ve been having a slight change of heart. I think perhaps my love of spirit [...]

After a very long time… over 11,000 casts….
I finally got him fishing in Sholazar Basin. Actually I have been fishing for him for so long I was starting to think he’d never drop. I was quite shocked. I’m glad I didn’t have to listen to me on vent! Anyway… had to share the good news!
For those of you [...]

Well, we can take a first look at our T9 set… at least the horde version of it. Have a look!
I might also add that if you view the original post you will see that although Alliance and Horde are going to have different sets, among ourselves our set will probably just be a re-colored version of rogue Alliance mage/priest/lock [...]

Although I’ve recently replaced this with the Spark of Hope, I thought I’d share this macro I used with my Spirit-World Glass.
#showtooltip Wild Growth
/use Spirit-World Glass
/stopcasting
/cast [target=Ashkore] Wild Growth
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
#showtooltip Wild Growth
/use Spirit-World Glass
/stopcasting
/cast [target=Angela] Wild Growth
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
Basically this targets me, and casts Wild Growth. If my Spirit World Glass CD is up, it casts that, if [...]

My new computer came today… I’m currently in the process of downloading WoW Its a sexy new iMac, with an upgraded graphics card. 24″ widescreen is going to take some getting use to after being a a laptop that is (literally) half it’s [...]
